What is Toxic Wealth and Why We Must Completely Eliminate It from Society?

If we think of money as a social nutrient, which lubricates the wheels of industry and invigorates the human spirit, we must accept that it can also be poisonous to both the individual and to society as a whole.

I have always found it strange that the question of “how much is enough” is one that almost everyone has asked of themselves and others, whilst at the political level and within the media, this issue is never broached.

Politicians relentlessly talk about “making the rich pay their fair share”, but in truth they are simply aiming their vitriol at the middle class, who are guilty of nothing more than wanting financial security for them and their family and a little prosperity for the future.

If someone who earns $200,000 dollars a year or has a couple of million dollars in the bank is ‘rich’, then what term do the politicians have for someone who makes $200,000 a day or has a couple of billion dollars in the bank? Of course, they don’t have a term for such people because they are their political donors, but I do. I call them toxically wealthy, and here’s why.

It takes a very particular personality type to firstly want to relentlessly accumulate more wealth than anyone could ever realistically spend, and secondly to actually climb that greasy pole, and steamroller over enough hurdles and people in order to attain it. I’ll get into specifics about the character of such people at a later date, but for now let’s just say, it’s not normal.

When we talk about political corruption we are almost always talking about ‘big money interests’. This is toxic wealth. When a person, or group of people, attain extreme levels of wealth, what always comes next is a conspiracy to undermine the democratic processes and to control politics from behind the scenes through bribery and other methods of corruption that require vast amounts of money, particularly at the global scale. Those with toxic wealth have been doing this for centuries, and it has gotten worse, not better, as time went on.

I will be sharing much more information about toxic wealth and all its devastating effects on our society, but that’s it in a nutshell. Toxic wealth is simply wealth that is toxic for democracy, for society, and for humanity as a whole.
